Urban Quotient, PC

Urban Quotient, PC is a Brooklyn-based architecture and research practice founded in 2010 by Principal Samir S. Shah, AIA, whose work centers on affordable and supportive housing, community facilities, and urban design. Shah holds a Master's degree in Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania and Bachelor's degrees from the City College of New York and North Carolina State University; he is a former Fulbright Fellow and a former Design Fellow with Architecture for Humanity. The firm's projects include 1159 River Avenue, a 245-unit supportive housing building in the Bronx; Harlem Dowling, a mixed-use facility combining affordable housing with community services; and 2142 Amsterdam Avenue, an affordable housing building in Washington Heights.
