WEISS/MANFREDI Architecture/Landscape/Urbanism

Architecture FirmEst. 1989

WEISS/MANFREDI Architecture/Landscape/Urbanism is a New York-based practice redefining the relationships between landscape, architecture, infrastructure, and art. Named one of North America's "Emerging Voices" by the Architectural League of New York, the firm's honors include the Award in Architecture from the American Academy of Arts and Letters and the New York AIA Gold Medal. Its design for the Seattle Art Museum's Olympic Sculpture Park, selected through international competition, integrates art, architecture, and ecology into a new model for waterfront development, and has won a World Architecture Festival Award and Harvard's Veronica Rudge Green Prize in Urban Design. The firm also designed the award-winning Hunter's Point South Waterfront Park on the East River in Queens, the Brooklyn Botanic Garden Visitor Center, and the revitalization of Longwood Gardens.
