Founder, M. Callahan Studio at Colony

Providence, Rhode Island-based designer who founded M. Callahan Studio in 2011 to make quilts and textile pieces centered on traditional hand construction. A Rhode Island School of Design graduate who now teaches as Assistant Professor of Furniture Design there, Callahan produces appliqué and pieced quilts, blankets, and custom commissions carried through Colony's cooperative design roster in New York.
