Michael McDonough, AIA, NCARB, USGBC, Honorary FIGP, is an architect, industrial designer, and author leading Michael McDonough Architect. His practice focuses on environmentally appropriate systems and advanced building technologies, and he consults on zero energy and zero-carbon energy policy. His project experience spans offices, airports, galleries, resorts, farms, residences, stores, furniture, exhibits, and jewelry design. He has published more than 80 articles and authored two books on architecture and design, and has collaborated with figures including author Tom Wolfe, designer Hartmut Esslinger, lighting designer Howard Brandston, and fashion designer Steven Sprouse. His work has been exhibited in museums and galleries worldwide.
