Oliver Schaper is a Principal, Design Director, and Cities & Urban Design Leader for Gensler's Northeast region, based in New York, with expertise in holistic, civic-minded, and sustainable planning. He oversees master plans, environmental systems, and mixed-use campus strategies, including the master plan for a 22-building waterfront development in Istanbul, an area-wide master plan for downtown Brooklyn, and a net-positive residential complex with electric car sharing in Ontario. He has represented Gensler at the UN-Habitat World Urban Forum and has taught at several universities.
