Robert May

Robert May is a Partner at HWKN Architecture in New York, where he has served as Design Lead for more than a decade, guiding design strategy and planning across the firm's projects. He spearheaded the firm's Purposeful Beings initiative, a retrospective of HWKN's past work reimagined as sculptures, and led notable projects including Wendy, winner of MoMA PS1's Young Architects Program, the Journal Squared transit-oriented development in New Jersey, and Pennovation, the University of Pennsylvania's innovation center. He was named a partner of the firm in 2021.
