Scott Lomax is Managing Director at Thornton Tomasetti and co-leader of the firm's Structural Engineering practice, based in New York. He holds an M.Eng. in Civil Engineering from the University of Glasgow, Scotland. Over more than 20 years he has designed and managed complex, architecturally exposed structures, including The Shed and the Vessel at Hudson Yards in New York City, the 1,200-foot Margaret Hunt Hill Bridge in Dallas, and the Museu do Amanha in Rio de Janeiro. He joined Thornton Tomasetti in 2012 after nine years with Santiago Calatrava's New York and Valencia offices, and also leads the firm's global business development.
