Walter Kneis

Walter Kneis is a Principal at NK Architects and co-directs the firm's Educational Design Sector. Over roughly 25 years, he has focused on learning environments ranging from early childhood centers through higher education, and has led master planning for educational and healthcare facilities, including rehabilitation centers for spinal cord and traumatic brain injury. He holds AIA, LEED AP BD+C, and CID credentials. His project work includes the Chapin School Upper School Addition, the Chatham Day School academic expansion (AIA Silver Medal), the Kent Place School Upper School Academic Center, and the County College of Morris Music Technology Building.
