Fort Street Studio

Hand-knotted and flat-weave carpet studio founded in the mid-1990s by painters Brad Davis and Janis Provisor, who developed a watercolor-based design approach for custom rugs. Based in Manhattan's Flatiron district, the studio was acquired by rug company Stark in November 2025; longtime creative director Paul Melo, who bought the brand from its founders in 2022, continues to lead design and sales.
