Louise Braverman Architect
Architecture FirmEst. 1991Louise Braverman Architect is driven by a deep passion to create architecture of art + conscience. Practicing locally and globally in exceptionally diverse settings, the firm has taken on the challenge to design impactful projects that merge cutting-edge design with sustainable community connection. The studio believes that architecture, at its best, can create a multi-layered dialogue that engenders a pluralistic conversation between disparate people, communities and cultures. Whether designing an amplified ADA compliant museum for the elderly in the Bronx, New York, a net-zero community dormitory for healthcare workers on an off-the-grid site in Burundi, Africa, or a green roof park covered art museum for a celebrated artist in Boticas, Portugal, the studio is propelled by its core belief in the power of pivotal architecture to positively affect the way in which we live. This innovative thinking has led the firm to receive numerous design awards and invitations to present architectural installations at seven recent Venice Architecture Biennales, both at international exhibitions and the United States Pavilion.
