Lux Foundry

Lux Foundry is a New York City architectural lighting design studio founded and led by Emad Hasan, IALD. The firm develops lighting concepts, documentation, and construction administration for performing arts, museum, academic, civic, healthcare, hospitality, historic-preservation, and residential projects, with an emphasis on sustainable, master-planned lighting design. Before founding the studio, Hasan spent 18 years in the lighting-design field, including as a senior associate at L'Observatoire International and as principal and partner at The Lighting Practice. In 2017, Lighting Magazine included him in its 40 Under 40 class recognizing younger lighting-design professionals.
