Interior design firm founded in 1996 by Steven Gambrel, a trained architect who earned his degree from the University of Virginia three years before starting the practice. Known for saturated color palettes, bold patterned textiles, and architecturally rigorous renovations of period buildings, Gambrel has restored numerous townhouses in Greenwich Village and designed residences throughout the Hamptons and Manhattan, including his own Sag Harbor property, later listed for $25 million.
