Artist & Ceramicist at Friedman Benda

Los Angeles-based, Swiss-born ceramic artist known for anthropomorphic lamps and vessels that combine irregular, hand-built forms with playful, human-like postures. Self-taught in ceramics, D'Apollonio established her studio in Los Angeles in 2014 after an earlier career in film and fashion, including founding the textile brand Ikou Tschuss. She is represented in New York by Friedman Benda, alongside galleries in Switzerland and Germany.
