Craig Tooman, AIA, LEED AP, is Principal at CTA Architects, P.C., where he leads the firm's school projects, combining design and restoration expertise with a focus on sustainable architecture. His portfolio includes seven new buildings and seven Universal Pre-Kindergarten facilities for the NYC School Construction Authority, including the city's first Passive House-certified Pre-K, as well as the Lower Eastside Girls Club and residential rehabilitation projects such as Haven Plaza and Grand Street Guild. His work received a 2016 Society of American Registered Architects Design Award of Merit and a 2022 National Design Award for the Haven Plaza Resiliency project.
