Debora K. Reiser

Debora K. Reiser is a Principal at Reiser + Umemoto in New York. She earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Pratt Institute in 1948, among the school's first women graduates, and worked more than 20 years with architects George Nemeny and Abraham Geller before establishing her own independent practice in 1972. Her work spans hundreds of residential and commercial projects as well as furniture and rug designs, and she has mentored architects including Laurie Hawkinson, Hani Rashid, and Yama Karim.
