Architecture FirmEst. 1986Jesse Reiser and Nanako Umemoto have practiced in New York City as Reiser+Umemoto, RUR Architecture DPC, since 1986. Jesse Reiser is a Professor of Architecture and Director of the M.Arch program at Princeton University's School of Architecture; Nanako Umemoto has taught at Columbia University, Pratt Institute, and Hong Kong University. The firm works internationally at scales from furniture to landscape and infrastructure. Its Taipei Music Center, a 755,000-square-foot venue, opened in 2021; the Kaohsiung Port Terminal, winner of an international design competition, was completed in 2022 and received the AIANY 2025 Design Award for Best in Competition; and O-14, a 22-story concrete-exoskeleton office tower in Dubai, opened in 2011.
