Ethan Lu

Ethan Lu, IIDA, AIA, NCIDQ, IDEC, LEED AP BD+C, is a principal of Metropolitan United Studio, PLLC in New York and a tenured Assistant Professor of Interior Design at the Fashion Institute of Technology/SUNY. He holds a Master in Architecture from Harvard University and a Master of Science in Architecture and Urban Design from Columbia University, and a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan. He worked at FXFOWLE Architects on NYC Transit subway extension projects and at CookFox Architects on One Bryant Park. He has taught at Columbia, Parsons, and NYIT, and served as Program Director at the New York School of Interior Design from 2010 to 2018.
