Karen Frome

Karen Frome is founding principal of Rise Projects in New York, with over 20 years of architecture experience. She holds a Master's in Architectural History and Theory from Princeton University, a Master's in Architecture from Columbia University, and a BA from UC Berkeley. A Fulbright Scholar and Guggenheim Fellow in Venice, she has received a Graham Foundation Grant and a John Labatut Fellowship. She teaches industrial design and graduate architecture studios, serves on the board of Archive Global, and is a registered architect in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Connecticut, and Colorado.
