Alexis & Ginger

New York furniture and object studio founded in 2022 by Alexis Tingey and Ginger Gordon, who met while sharing adjacent benches in RISD's furniture design MFA program. The studio works across metalwork, carved wood, stained glass, and textiles, drawing on handcraft traditions such as embroidery, quilting, and lacemaking to produce collections including Flora & Fauna, Sonnet, Ode, and Silhouette. The Flora & Fauna mirror series is carried by the New York retailer The Future Perfect, and the founders have shown work at Triennale Milano and the ALCOVA design fair in Milan, completed a residency at Colony in Tribeca, and collaborated with Petra Hardware on a decorative-hardware line.
