Matter Made

Matter Made is the in-house design and manufacturing brand of Matter, the design gallery founded by Jamie Gray in SoHo in 2003 that has hosted more than 50 exhibitions of emerging and established designers over its first twelve years. Launched in 2008, Matter Made produces made-to-order lighting, tables, seating, and objects in brass and glass at its own workshop in Greenpoint, Brooklyn. Collaborating designers include Luca Nichetto, Jamie Wolfond, and Faye Toogood, alongside Gray's own Delphi lighting collection of cast and machined brass paired with fluted glass tubing, inspired by classical Greek columns.
